What is amber?
Amber is a natural material and has a warm feel and look. It is a stick resin that has seeped from trees millions of years ago and often traps foliage and insects. Over many years the amber has hardend and changed colour. Most of the worlds amber is between 30 and 90 million years old. It is now available in many different colours and can be made into many different types of jewelry. Even if 2 peices of jewelry are styled in the same way they will look different as the colour of the amber will vary slightly, also any inclusions in the amber will differ.
